Europe’s largest gas liquefication plant was built in Northern Norway. It pumps the raw materials from an undersea gas field, subsequently liquefying it for delivery to European gas markets. Bilfinger Berger was responsible for the insulation of the pumping and processing plants – a piping system with a total length of 130 kilometers.
