Puente de Centenario, Panama

This bridge, the second to span the Panama Canal, is making an important contribution to Panama’s development. Bilfinger Berger needed only 27 months to erect the 1,000-meter long cable-stayed bridge. The technically demanding structure is supported by 128 steel cables suspended from two 178-meter high bridge towers.
